Dan - Type B Jam

Just thought i'd get started, on these jams. I had a bunch of ideas running through my head. These are pretty rough btw. Just playing around with composition, lighting, shapes etc.

For the 1st one, i imagined the woman on the dragon is going through the portal to go back in the past. To save her grandfather, because he would be the key to saving the future from some disaster. I guess kind of like terminator but fantasy style. I decided to take like a comic book / manga style approach to tell the story.

ninku " i will save you no matter what "
             " we have to get to him as soon as possible "

The 2nd one, the agent that was eavesdropping was noticed by the two guys. Because of his silhouette ..haha.. So he made a quick escape but was perused by two mercenaries. So with that kind of story in mind, i imagined the scene taking place in a forest. And they are about to engage in a battle.

Agent  " come at me bro "
mercs " you mad bro ?"

 

Edit : After posting this, i just noticed i made a sub conscious connection between the two jams, when painting. My storyline for the 1st jam was the woman going back in time to save her grandfather. For the 2nd jam, i painted the agent that's going to be attacked by the mercs. 

So this the event that she's possibly going back in time for haha..

Draw ! A new sketch jam

Hey all ! So i sent a email to some of you guys in order to re-open this sketch blog. So on the top there are two tabs, one for guidelines and one for contact info. Please read up on the guidelines if you are unsure what to post  or how to post etc.

So lets start !!

1) Type B Jam

i would like to start a brand new Jam idea.

( Type B jams are explained in the guidelines)


The Story : A Dragon and its master Ninku, entered through a time portal .

So..
What happens next ...?  



So Basically now you can draw up your idea on what you think can happen ?  you can draw the new environment they found?  you can draw the beast chasing them  ?  you can draw maybe a new portal gate they find ? Do they attacked in the time portal ? Are they being chased by something ? or maybe they will accidentally arrive in a unknown land ?

  Up to you to decide  their fate ....

2)  Type B Jam 

 Story : An agent  from an unknown client was sent to get Intel about the new secret weapon.

agent ( the guy eavesdropping on the right , wearing a purple head wear) 

So.... What happens next ?

Just throwing some ideas. you can design maybe the type of weapon he found,  you can draw what happened to him etc

Alright those are the 2 new Jams ! You don't need to draw an entire scene. Or something fully rendered. You can simplify the details , draw it in your own style. Its very open ended.
